Wow... Loved the book. Fantastic job, well organized and as always your research is impeccable. I couldn't put it down. What a rich history of "our roots" thank you for this masterpiece... It would make my Dad smile for sure!

Cordially,

Hello Cousin Arthur !
Congratulations on your book, a most interesting one for me and the Finkle family (one of the oldest Trenton families replete with a fascinating history and personalities).
I placed into the mail (snail mail) a check payable to the Trenton Jewish Historical Society for $100 for an autographed copy...my kids will cherish it, as will I.
As I have always said..."I have taken myself out of Trenton but I can never take Trenton out of myself."
I hope all is well with you and your family.
With warm regards,
Cousin Howard Finkle

Hi, Arthur!
     Happy Shavuos!
Watched a movie that was just on TCM last night called "Some Call It Loving" starring Zal Lefkowitz in 1973.  It was a VERY dark, haunting movie, as were all of his movies.  I'm surprised this one made it to TCM, which is not even a cable station.
Just curious - who did Zal take to the senior prom?

Mr. Finkle:
Enclosed is a copy of my memoir, "Commitment and Love," (August 2015) and my Father's (Solomon Sharlin's) "Autobiography: "From Jerusalem to Ellis Island."
I was born in Trenton July 8, 1925, married Tiby Mintz (19271998) in 1948. We had three children Allan (1950-1983), Joshua (1952) and Shifra (1954). We moved to New York City in 1959.
I think you are doing extraordinary work in dong the Jews of Trenton.

Hello Art:
Yes, I did received your book...thoroughly enjoyed it...especially the photos and all the names that I have not heard mentioned in a long long time....brought back fond memories and possibly recollections that I would not have had unless I saw the names in print.

Hi Art, Just finished reading your book - enjoyed it very much. There are so many names that are familiar. You mentioned Joseph Spector and I am pretty sure that was my Dad's uncle. I did not know about the theater. I did know of a cousin by the name of Little Joe Spector an entertainer around the 30's. I have started a family tree on Geni. Give my regards to Linda. Rescha
